Protector Insurance is now looking to recruit highly motivated graduates to join their team as Underwriter/Analysts at their state-of-the-art Head Office in Manchester city centre. You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team that fosters a collaborative and energetic environment. Responsibilities of the Underwriter Analyst:

  • Work at the heart of the risk selection process, directly influencing the company's profitability.
  • Gain exposure to clients across both the private and public sector, including some of the largest organisations in the UK.
  • Undertake a broad range of challenging and exciting tasks across Property, Casualty and Motor Fleet insurance.
  • Analyse data, present key conclusions, and participate in a range of operational projects across the UK and overseas.
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally to support business development and client retention.
  • Engage in a structured training programme from day one, gaining underwriting experience and support towards professional insurance qualifications.

What we are looking for:

  • Recent Graduate calibre with a strong academic background.
  • Strong analytical competence and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to take on responsibility.
  • High level of IT competence; experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL and/or Python would be advantageous.
