About Our Graduate Programme

At BakerHicks, we offer a dynamic two-year graduate scheme - an exceptional launchpad for your career as a Sustainability Engineer. Our program uniquely combines technical expertise with professional development through two enriching learning journeys. You'll dive into hands-on experiences alongside our industry-leading teams, equipping you with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive in your engineering career. From day one, you'll benefit from a personalised on-the-job training plan tailored to the Sustainability department. This approach will not only allow you to apply your technical knowledge in real-world settings but also provide ongoing support from experienced professionals. What You’ll Be Doing

• Working closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that sustainability targets are met, with an emphasis on delivering low-carbon buildings.
• Quantifying and analysing the carbon footprint of materials from extraction to end-of-life stages.
• Collaborating with design and engineering teams to identify low-carbon materials and construction techniques.
• Assisting to deliver the BakerHicks Sustainability initiative/business plan.

Achieving a relevant MSc and/or BSc degree in Environmental Sciences, Geography, Architecture, or Engineering.
