The Opportunity: Join our progressive Highways team in Leeds and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transport infrastructure. Our core technical skills include alignment design, surface water drainage design, and building intelligent BIM models to ensure seamless inter-disciplinary design coordination. Our team also leads delivery of these transport infrastructure projects which provides a range of opportunities for you to take on client-facing roles where you can develop your project management and commercial skills. We are looking for passionate candidates eager to develop their engineering and management abilities while working on large, multi-disciplinary projects from feasibility stage through to construction. Is this role right for you? From the outset you will be supporting the successful delivery of projects, building relationships within the team and across the wider Arup community. Typical day-to-day tasks include:

  • Assisting in the design and development of highways and transportation projects.
  • Preparing technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Supporting project managers in the planning, commercial management and delivery of projects.
