Graduate Specialist Program (Supply Chain)

Our trainee program as a Supply Chain Graduate Specialist is your career start in an internationally successful company. Over 18–24 months, you will rotate through specialist departments at our Glenrothes plant and abroad, with placements tailored to your development.

What You Will Do

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the Supply Chain function, with potential placements across Supply Chain, Purchasing and Procurement.
  • Undertake technical and project tasks alongside operational and strategic responsibilities.
  • Experience our diverse product and service portfolio and learn our internal development processes.
  • Provide key support to audits and essential revalidations.
  • Support supply chain teams to consistently deliver high product availability in line with agreed service levels.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop innovations in products, supply chain or service workflows that generate mutual value.
  • Maintain accurate records; set up new lines; conduct demand planning; transfer stock; and handle calls and enquiries.
  • Contribute to projects focused on inventory and cost-reduction measures.
  • Process concessions for logistics issues.
  • Conduct range reviews, data tracking and price comparisons.

Qualifications

Education

  • Master’s degree in supply chain management, business and/or engineering (required).

Experience

  • Challenging industrial internships or initial work experience in a technical environment.

Skills and Competencies

  • Preferably experience or knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent communication skills; high level of self-motivation and commitment.
  • Enjoys contact with customers and suppliers; open to new ideas; goal- and result-oriented; team player.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literate, with sound knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Mobility

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
