Seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our manufacturing client's team and support on the workshop floor.

Temp to Perm role based in Bideford, £12.71 per hour - to increase after 13 weeks. Monday to Friday - 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery and equipment used in pallet production
  • Follow detailed production plans and adhere to health & safety standards
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
  • Report any faults, issues, or malfunctions promptly
  • Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items
  • Basic understanding of workplace health & safety
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Willingness to work overtime when required
