Housekeeper
North Devon
Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm
Flexibility needed as occasional weekend hours
Live in position with accommodation provided
Salary Up to Β£37k DOE
The duties and responsibilities of the Housekeeper will include:
- Carry out all housekeeping duties
- Making sure the home is kept clean and tidy
- Daily cleaning of kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms
- Cleaning with knowledge of products and usage, polishing, vacuuming, laundry, ironing, window cleaning, making beds
- Driving β shopping and occasional school runs plus after school clubs
- Occasional cooking for family when required
- Looking after pets from time to time and housesitting
- Occasional overnight childminding
- Experience of care and maintenance of fine art and antiques is preferable
Skills required:
- Must be child and pet friendly
- Clean driving licence
- Organisation
- Ability to use own initiative, and able to spot what needs doing
- Good communication skills and able to work within a team
- Time management
- Attention to detail
- Discretion and confidentiality at all times
Hours/days of work:
- Monday β Friday
- 8am β 5pm
- Flexibility on working hours as occasional weekend work required
