Our well-established manufacturing client is seeking production operatives to join their team on the workshop floor.

Pay: £13.50 per hour (£2 per hour premium for night shift)

Job Type: Full Time; Temporary Ongoing

Hours: Monday - Thursday

Shifts:

  • Day Shift: 7am - 5:30pm
  • Night shift: 4:30pm - 3am

Location: Holsworthy

Responsibilities of the Production Operative:

  • Operate punch press machines to cut, shape, and form metal
  • Load materials into the machine and adjust to ensure accurate cutting and forming
  • Monitor the machine during operation to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments
  • Lift, move and carry safely large and heavy pieces of metal
  • Adhere to manual handling and health and safety regulations

Requirements of the Production Operative:

  • Experience in a factory environment (metal works experience is advantageous)
  • Performing quality checks on finished products
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Flexibility is essential
  • Able to carry and move heavy parts (up to 25 kg)
