About our Client: We have an exciting vacancy which has arisen within the Finance Department, reporting into the Finance Director. This is to ensure that there is the required focus on ensuring our costing position is fully understood, as well as ensuring group reporting is completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Providing expertise in the production and analysis of management accounts and group reporting.
- Ensuring the company has full visibility on product costings, under/over recoveries, inventory, including making recommendations to improve business performance.
- Mentoring and coaching members of the finance team to ensure long term success.
- Working on the budget process to ensure we meet our group deadlines and fully understand and provide analysis on the numbers.
- Helping to ensure that the audit is completed within planned timescales, including work on RDEC and taxation.
- Working with the team to identify further systems and process improvements.
- Providing support to the FD, as required.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified.
- Extensive ERP experience, including LN (desirable).
- Advanced Excel, including VBA/Macros.
- Product costing.
- Experience of managing audits or making significant contributions to ensuring completion in required timescales.
- Budget and Cashflow forecasting.
- Coaching/mentoring experience.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
