Exciting opportunity to join a leading electronics manufacturer as an Assembly Operative.

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Ilfracombe

Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hour week (varied flexible shifts available - please indicate preference)

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour + shift premium (dependent on shift)

About our client: A leading manufacturer of key electronic components found in nearly all electrical devices that are indispensable for their proper function.

Key responsibilities of the Assembly Operative:

  • To ensure that products are assembled to quality standards
  • To be able to work alongside other team members to ensure daily targets are met
  • To read and follow assembly instructions from technical drawings
  • To assemble electronic components
  • To adhere to manufacturing industry standards

Skills required of the Assembly Operative:

  • ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) awareness
  • Awareness of relevant risk assessments
  • Demonstrate understanding and compliance to Health and Safety Standards
  • Experience in manufacturing would be beneficial
  • Be able to explain and deliver department 5S routines
  • Maintain a clean and tidy area
  • Understand and demonstrate safe manual handling techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and good dexterity
