Senior Investment Manager – Hedge Fund Allocations (Credit)
The Senior Investment Manager will be responsible for identifying, underwriting, and managing investments in external credit hedge fund managers. The role involves full ownership of the investment process—from sourcing and due diligence through to portfolio construction, performance monitoring, and ongoing manager engagement—with the goal of generating long-term, risk‑adjusted returns that exceed benchmark expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in hedge fund allocation, structured credit investing, or credit portfolio management.
- Proven track record in analyzing and allocating to credit hedge fund strategies, with deep knowledge of the structured credit and securitized products landscape.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to interpret complex risk and valuation models.
- Advanced understanding of financial instruments used in credit strategies (cash bonds, credit derivatives, structured tranches, leverage facilities, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of articulating complex investment concepts to senior stakeholders.
- Experience within a large fund, pension, endowment, or institutional allocator environment is highly desirable.
- CFA, CAIA, or advanced degree
