The Associate Vice President (AVP) β Investments will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing direct investment opportunities across multiple sectors and geographies. The individual will contribute to deal origination, conduct rigorous due diligence, and support the full lifecycle of investment management with a strong focus on value creation and strategic alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and assess direct investment opportunities across target sectors, including growth equity, buyouts, and co-investments.
- Lead in-depth financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment structuring.
- Conduct and coordinate comprehensive due diligence across commercial, financial, legal, and operational workstreams.
- Prepare and present investment memoranda and recommendations to senior stakeholders and internal investment committees.
- Support negotiations of term sheets, shareholder agreements, and transaction documents in collaboration with legal and financial advisors.
- Monitor and manage portfolio company performance, including regular analysis, reporting, and support for strategic initiatives.
- Engage with portfolio company management teams to drive value creation initiatives, including strategic planning, capital structure optimization, and exit readiness.
- Collaborate with internal teams including strategy, legal, risk, ESG, and compliance throughout the investment process.
- Track macroeconomic and sector trends to identify emerging investment themes and areas of interest.
- Maintain strong relationships with global and regional investment partners, advisors, and co-investors.
Requirements:
- 7β10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, principal investing, or strategy consulting.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in executing complex transactions across different geographies or sectors.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and investment structuring.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Regional or international exposure is advantageous.
