This role is for the most dynamic and passionate finance professionals of engineering/manufacturing who are prepared to make a huge difference. This Finance Director will be pivotal to underpinning an incredible growth agenda with an active strategy to IPO.
Main responsibilities:
- Part of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting into and working closely with the Managing Director, this is a key role in a small dynamic organisation, with overall responsibility for financial management, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in reporting and analysis.
- The CFO will play a critical role in driving the financial performance and strategic growth of the business, while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and reporting requirements associated with an AIM listed company.
- You will monitor financial performance and proactively implement cost-saving initiatives where necessary, always driving continuous improvement across systems, controls, business efficiencies, forecasting and reporting processes.
- You will support the business through its next phase of growth by building a finance infrastructure capable of supporting private equity expectations and future growth ambitions.
The candidate profile:
- A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, preferably CIMA), you have experience leading a team in finance management within an agile manufacturing SME.
- Highly commercially minded, you have proven experience preparing management accounts to a high standard in a hands-on role, in an international environment.
- You have a strong understanding of AIM Rules, listed company governance, financial reporting requirements and compliance obligations.
- Above all, we are looking for genuinely proactive team players with an entrepreneurial spirit, who thrive on playing a key role in a high growth, fast paced environment.
