Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Weymouth. As an Electrician with Cooper + Cooper Solar, your primary responsibilities include installing and maintaining solar PV systems, ensuring the proper functioning of electrical components, commercial and domestic electrical installations, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs as needed. You will work closely with the team to deliver high standards of service, contribute to energy‑efficient upgrades, and support ongoing system maintenance for both residential and commercial clients.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Electricity and Electrical Work, including installation and wiring
• Experience in Maintenance & Repair of electrical systems and renewable energy equipment
• Strong Troubleshooting capabilities to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles related to solar energy systems
• Valid city and guilds certification
• Familiarity with solar PV systems and battery storage is highly advantageous
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed
• over 5 years Experience.
