Job Responsibility
We are currently recruiting for 1 x full time temporary Warehouse Operatives at our Amesbury site, near Salisbury. You will be working as part of a small friendly team to pick, pack and despatch deliveries to our customers as well as unloading and putting away deliveries from our suppliers.
The Job:
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Be able to load and unload lorries with efficiency
- Ensure packs/boxes are correct in every way
- Ensure packs/boxes are sealed properly
- Input data onto PRIMA system and relevant IT systems/ packages
- Keeping records/paperwork up to date for example shipping paperwork, despatch notes and picking lists
- Maintain a clean and tidy workplace
The Candidate:
Essential Criteria
- GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent at C Grade or above (or equivalent work experience)
- Competent in the use of IT Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well as part of a team and under direction
- Keen eye for detail to ensure any imperfections are noticed
- A good level of English to understand instructions and follow health & safety procedures
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- Current DBS Vetting Check
Desirable Criteria
- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience in a Stores/Warehouse environment
- Experience of using IT Stock systems
- Valid Forklift/Telehandler Licence
