We re hiring, and looking for a Technical & Design Co-ordinator to join our team. You ll lead the creation and development of product samples for the defence market, helping us secure top technical scores in tender bids.
What You ll Do
- Manage sample development from concept to approval.
- Interpret tender documents and guide manufacturing teams.
- Create garment specifications, CAD drawings, and technical documentation.
- Research market trends and competitor designs.
- Source fabrics, trims, and packaging for samples.
- Communicate with accredited test houses to qualify selected fabrics.
- Ensure quality standards are met and submissions are on time.
What We re Looking For
- Experience in apparel/technical textiles.
- CAD proficiency and garment spec expertise.
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- Detail-driven with a passion for quality and innovation.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of garment design, tailoring, or manufacturing processes.
- Experience with industry-standard design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Canva, Clo3D, Browzwear).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Fashion or Textile Design.
- Experience working directly with customers.
- Background in garment technology or quality control.
