Due to continued demand for our products, Cooneen is recruiting sewing machinists to join our skilled team at our Fivemiletown production site.
Responsibilities:
- Sewing and manufacturing of garments on flatbed sewing machines.
- Ability to perform basic machine maintenance, such as cleaning the machine and changing needles and threads.
- Keen eye for detail and use fault finding abilities to ensure all sewn products are completed to the client's specification, before being packed and dispatched.
- Ability to work well under pressure as you will be required to work towards targets and deadlines.
- Support overtime when the business requires it at busy times.
- Maximise efficiency by supporting Cooneen Lean continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:
Essential:
- Previous sewing experience, preferably gained in a manufacturing environment.
- 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics, Grade C or above OR significant time served in a similar role.
Desirable:
- Experience in using a single needle machine.
- Awareness of garment construction.
