We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to support the Business Development Director in the operational management of the sales team to achieve annual sales and margin targets. Acting as a central point within the sales function, you will ensure sales pipeline activity and customer engagement are coordinated and consistently followed through to ensure the achievement of Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Business Development Director day-to-day in the operational management of the Business Development function
- Manage and coordinate a team of 5 sales personnel (including remote members)
- Ensure opportunities are tracked, progressed, and achieved
- Own the central sales pipeline, tracking performance and driving accountability
- Drive CRM discipline and data accuracy
- Identify risks and stalled opportunities, escalating where required
- Drive consistent progression of sales activity and customer engagement across the pipeline
- Act as a key link with Technical, Sourcing and Quality, Production, Bid Management, and Finance departments as required
- Ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated internally
- Coordinate inputs for customer proposals, tenders, and submissions, ensuring timely delivery
- Track progress across live opportunities and ensure follow-up actions are completed
- Support continuous improvement and efficient ways of working
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Undertake additional duties as required

- Strong track record of working in a sales or business development environment within a Manufacturing environment
- Experience managing teams to achieve sales targets
- Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrable organisational and coordination skills
- Proven ability to manage Sales pipelines, reporting, and implementing structured processes
- Experience monitoring sales activity and ensuring consistent progression of opportunities
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow through on actions
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Experience in textiles, garments, workwear, or related industries
- Experience supporting Business Development or Sales teams
