We have an opportunity for an account manager to join the team at Cooneen Protection, Fivemiletown on a permanent basis. The successful person will manage a portfolio of contracts to ensure that they are successfully and profitably delivered throughout their lifetime, sales are maximised, and contracts successfully retained.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, driving sales growth, contract renewals, and service excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and review meetings.
  • Achieve sales, contribution, and delivery KPI targets while identifying new business and tender opportunities.
  • Lead contract implementation, customer issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration to improve performance and margins.
  • Support forecasting, stock management, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and support to Account Coordinators and the wider Contract Management Team.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by management.
  • Observe all Company Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies particularly in relation to Health and Safety, Harassment, Disciplinary and ICT Security.
  • Maximise efficiency by supporting Cooneen Lean continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience in an Account Management or similar customer orientated role with a portfolio of customers.
  • Proven track record in the development & implementation of a business strategy.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS Word & Excel.
  • Must be willing to make trips abroad if required for business purposes.

Desirable

  • Has a Degree/Technical Qualification.
  • Has managed and delivered accounts at an international level.
  • Experience of working with various stakeholders including country office, factories and in-house design.
  • Broad understanding of garment technology/garment manufacturing process.
  • Experience of EU and international sales.
  • Has targeted and opened new accounts to generate new business.
  • A clean current driving licence is useful but not essential.
