The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
As our Arborist Team Leader (COSS), you will join our Rail Arboriculture team operating on rail sites throughout the Midlands and Yorkshire regions. You will be responsible for:
- Interpreting requirements, effectively planning and delivering all elements of railway de-vegetation works.
- Effectively and safely supervising a small team in de-vegetation works, completing Risk Assessments and Team Briefings.
- Safe removal/clearance of vegetation as per contract requirements, carrying out accurate tree identification and ensuring work sites are left tidy.
- Reporting any incidents or Close Calls immediately to the appropriate person.
To be successful as our Arborist Team Leader, we would ideally like you to have the following:
- Competencies including PTS, COSS, Chainsaw, Aerial Rescue, Lead Climber, Chainsaw from Rope & Harness.
- Understanding of leading/coaching/mentoring and developing a team.
