ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and organised Hair & Beauty Technician to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning by preparing resources, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth running of practical sessions.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with industry experience or a passion for the Hair & Beauty sector, who enjoys working in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up learning environments in line with lesson plans
- Support tutors by preparing teaching aids, materials, and equipment
- Maintain stock levels, place orders, and ensure value for money
- Manage and maintain equipment records, testing schedules, and servicing logs
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Work flexibly as part of the technician team to support curriculum delivery
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Hair or Beauty
- Recent, relevant industry experience
- Experience in a similar technician /support role
- Knowledge of stock control systems

Qualifications
A Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject essential
5 GCSE’s (including Maths & English or equivalent) essential
Computer Literacy Knowledge of Microsoft Office essential
Health and Safety Qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, COSHH, etc) or willing to work towards desirable
Experience
Recent and relevant industry experience in sector essential
Experience within a similar role
