The John of Gaunt Schoolisseekingto appoint a dynamic and highly motivated Cleaner to join their team. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.

As a Cleaner at The John of Gaunt, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors across the school. You will carry out a range of cleaning duties in line with the school's cleaning schedule, ensuring that all areas are kept to a high standard. Working safely and responsibly, you will use cleaning materials and equipment correctly and report any faults, maintenance issues or potential hazards to the Facilities Manager. You will follow health and safety procedures at all times and complete any records or documentation required as part of the role. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school and responding positively to changes in work routines when needed. You will maintain confidentiality, act with professionalism and uphold the values and standards expected within a school environment. Above all, you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students while helping to create a positive setting where young people can learn and thrive.
