Glenleigh Park Primary Academy is looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher (Year 6) on a permanent basis to continue inspiring young minds. This is a part-time role (0.6 FTE) , offering an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated and supportive team. This role is unsuitable for ECTs.
As our Year 6 Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing pupils for secondary school, delivering high-quality teaching that inspires, motivates and challenges learners to achieve their very best.

Recent primary teaching experience - either EYFS, KS1, or KS2
Experience working with outside agencies to support children's progress/well-being
Experience of supporting children with limited verbal communication
An understanding of the pedagogy of early reading and phonics, particularly Read, Write Inc.
To have knowledge and a keen interest in leading a curriculum area
Knowledge of reporting behaviour/safeguarding concerns on an electronic platform
