Sir William Perkins’s School is seeking an organised and highly empathetic Wellbeing Room and Pastoral Administrator. This position is central to our school’s commitment to excellent pastoral care for all students. The successful applicant will have oversight of the Wellbeing Room, acting as the first point of contact for students requiring emotional support, and creating a calm and welcoming environment.

In addition to direct student interaction, the post-holder will be responsible for implementing proactive wellbeing initiatives across the school and coordinating external counselling services. The Wellbeing Room and Pastoral Administrator will serve as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), requiring high levels of discretion and professionalism. This includes managing sensitive information, facilitating clear and compassionate communication with parents and guardians, and providing high-level administrative support to the wider pastoral team.

Sir William Perkins’s School is a high-performing, academically selective, independent school for approximately 600 students aged 11 – 18 years. The Head is both a member of HMC and GSA. It is located on an attractive 12‑acre site situated on the outskirts of Chertsey, a two‑minute walk from the railway station and very near to the junction of the M3 and M25.
