Cooltech Refrigeration is a specialist contractor providing installation, maintenance, and repair services for commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. We work across sectors including retail, hospitality, cold storage, and commercial facilities, delivering reliable and high-quality service to our clients.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our expanding team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out installation, service, and maintenance work on a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This role requires a proactive engineer who can work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics on refrigeration and HVAC equipment
- Installation and commissioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service when attending client sites
Requirements
- Proven experience working with commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Valid F-Gas certification
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience with supermarket refrigeration, cold rooms, or pack systems
- Electrical knowledge and relevant certifications
- Experience working in retail or commercial environments
