About the role: We're looking for a Creative Director to join Coolr and help shape the agency's future. Available as either a permanent role or an initial 3–6 month fixed-term contract, this position will focus on driving growth through standout pitch work, agency propositions and new business opportunities.
Working closely with the Growth team, you'll lead the creative development of pitches, credentials and proactive opportunities, turning commercial challenges into compelling ideas that help us win. We're looking for someone who can spot opportunities, build persuasive narratives and inspire teams to deliver best‑in‑class social‑first thinking.
Following successful wins, there is a clear pathway to lead key client relationships and creative output across retained accounts. You'll be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, leading multidisciplinary teams and helping shape the agency's creative direction.
- New business & Growth:
- Lead the creative development of major pitch responses from brief through to presentation.
- Partner closely with the Growth, Strategy and Leadership teams to identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Create standout creative platforms, campaign ideas and social‑first propositions that differentiate Coolr from competitors.
- Shape agency credentials, case studies and marketing materials to elevate how Coolr presents itself externally.
- Develop proactive opportunities and thought leadership initiatives that create conversations with prospective clients.
- Help identify emerging categories, brands and opportunities where Coolr can win.
- Support senior leadership in defining agency positioning and future growth strategy.
- Build compelling pitch narratives that connect business challenges, audience insights and creative solutions.
- Lead pitch presentations and represent Coolr confidently in senior client meetings.
- Collaborate closely with Presentation Designers and Strategists to ensure every pitch feels world‑class.
- Creative Leadership:
- Lead multidisciplinary pitch teams across Creative, Strategy, Design, Production and Client Services.
- Raise the creative standard of all new business output.
- Mentor and inspire creative teams throughout the pitch process.
- Push teams beyond expected solutions to create work that is distinctive, culturally relevant and commercially effective.
- Provide clear creative direction and feedback across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Act as a senior creative voice across the agency.
- Future Client Leadership:
- Following successful business wins, there will be an opportunity to transition onto retained client business and take ownership of creative leadership across key accounts.
