Who are Coolr? We’re an independent social media agency and team of creatives, social experts, content publishers and change makers. Completely wired into popular culture, our work connects brands with their audiences at scale. With clients such as Burger King, Lidl, Deliveroo and Compare the Market, our aim is to be the biggest social agency in the world. The agency is growing at a rapid rate, but we’re only just getting started. In 2026, we have ambitious plans to truly become the stand‑out social agency in the UK, the US, and beyond.

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Content Creator to bring social ideas to life through strong lo‑fi execution. This role focuses on producing high‑quality, on‑brand short‑form video and static content that meets creative direction, brand standards and platform best practice, while developing confidence in ideation, ownership and collaboration. Working closely with social creatives, strategists and producers, you will help translate ideas into engaging, scroll‑stopping content across TikTok, Instagram Reels and other social platforms.

The job

  • Ideation & Creative Contribution: Ideating, scripting and storyboarding lo‑fi social content that aligns with client objectives and audience insight. Contributing ideas proactively in brainstorms, working sessions, Slack and shared documents.
  • Content Planning: Translating creative direction into clear, executable content plans, including hooks, shot lists and formats that bring ideas to life.
  • Lo‑fi Content Production: Shooting and editing lo‑fi social content using a phone or lightweight setup, ensuring visuals are clean, audio is clear and framing is considered.
  • Reactive Content Creation: Working in a fast‑paced, newsroom‑style environment to respond quickly to trends, cultural moments and reactive opportunities.
  • Editorial & Brand Storytelling: Supporting the creation of editorial‑style social content, including written and visual formats such as guides, explainers and brand storytelling pieces.
  • Quality Control: Reviewing work thoroughly before submission, ensuring brand assets, copy, formatting and visual elements are correct and consistent.
  • Brand & Style Execution: Applying brand tone, style and visual identity across content while working confidently within defined brand guidelines and creative direction.
  • Production Support: Supporting with pre‑production planning where required, including contributing to shoot preparation, production notes and execution write‑ups.
  • Time Management: Managing multiple briefs and deadlines effectively, while flagging capacity challenges or conflicting priorities early.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with creatives, strategy, community and production teams, receiving feedback openly and contributing positively to team culture.

What we are looking for

  • Experience creating lo‑fi, social‑first content, ideally including food‑led content.
  • Confident filming and editing social content using an iPhone or mobile‑first setup.
  • Experience using editing tools such as CapCut, mobile editing apps, or in‑platform editors.
  • Comfortable shooting and editing content independently from start to finish.
  • Ability to set up simple shoot environments, including lighting, framing and composition.
  • Experience using lightweight production equipment such as tripods, phone rigs and microphones.
  • Comfortable both behind and occasionally in front of the camera when required.
  • Experience working in fast‑paced, reactive social environments, such as agencies, publishers or newsroom‑style teams.
  • Strong understanding of social trends, formats and platform culture, with the ability to contribute reactive ideas to the team.
  • Experience working with brands and translating brand messaging into engaging social content.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring work is polished and ready for review even within quick turnaround times.
  • Confidence supporting on PPMs, shoot preparation or execution write‑ups where required.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple briefs and shifting priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset, open to feedback, proactive in communication, and positive in contributing to team culture.
