General Sales Assistant – Temporary
Location: Coolings Lifestyle, Main Road, Knockholt,Kent, TN14 7LJ
Contract Type: Temporary, Part Time
Hours: Every Monday and Friday and Alternate Weekends
Rate of pay: NLW

Coolings Lifestyle is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Temporary General Assistant. If you enjoy working as part of a team, providing excellent customerservice and keeping things organised, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
The role will run from November to January, working an average of 13.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service
- Advising and assisting customers on the shop floor
- Operating an EPOS till system and taking all forms of payment
- Putting out stock and keeping displays well presented
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised shop floor
- Assisting with deliveries and completing delivery notes as required
- Supporting the wider team with general duties as needed
- Promoting and enhancing the Coolings brand
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Previous retail or customer service experience would be an advantage but is not essential
- Own transport is essential as public transport to us is not reliable
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, flexible and willing to get involved
