Role Description
The Air Conditioning Engineer role at Cool 365 Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom.
Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and HVAC systems across a range of commercial and residential sites.
The engineer will carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and performance checks, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
The role involves working with a variety of manufacturers’ equipment, completing detailed job reports, and communicating clearly with clients and colleagues.
The engineer will also support planned preventative maintenance schedules, adhere to health and safety standards, and collaborate with the wider team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in HVAC systems, including installation, commissioning, diagnostics, and repair.
- Experience in building services and building maintenance, with the ability to work safely within occupied and commercial environments.
- Knowledge of facility management (FM) practices and maintenance & repair routines for climate control and related equipment.
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in air conditioning, refrigeration, or mechanical engineering (e. g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- F-Gas certification and strong understanding of current regulations and health and safety standards.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals, use diagnostic tools, and maintain accurate service records.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full valid driving license and willingness to travel within the London Area and surrounding regions as required.
