The Role
As our Production Team Leader - Stampings, you will oversee the stampings department by ensuring all employees within the department are trained on the relevant processes and equipment, and safe methods of operation are followed. You will also liaise with other departments to ensure raw materials, consumables and equipment are available to manufacture on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the production area whilst taking actions to drive towards manufacturing excellence.
- Prepare requisitions for raw materials and engineering consumables.
- Conduct regular stock takes and develop procedures to maximise precious metal yield and recovery.
- Day-to-day management of the stampings team to ensure processes are being followed and business targets are being met.
About you
- Proven experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
