The Role

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to provide an efficient and effective service to customers in the processing, chasing and maintenance of their accounts. Reduce DSO, ensuring adherence to the company's credit policy. Paying strict attention to detail and policing the accounts to ensure fraud and accounting errors are kept to a minimum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Controlling a designated credit control ledger by way of phone, letters and legal methods against a personal monthly target.
  • Liaising with customers and allocating credits where applicable on customer accounts.
  • To process new account applications and credit limit reviews.
  • To ensure the maintenance of customer files, contact systems and all associated documentation. Ensuring accurate client details are maintained on the sales ledger, including diary notes.
  • To determine the reason for credit failures and ensure that the despatch of material is not unduly delayed whilst observing the provisions of the company's Credit Policy.

About you

To succeed in this role, you'll need previous credit control experience, high attention to detail and be willing to get involved in whatever it takes to get the job done.
