Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead and manage the kitchen operation at our café in Wimbledon Park.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency, while fostering a positive, supportive, and professional kitchen culture.
Permanent flexible 40 hour week; 5 days out of 7.
Key
Responsibilities: Oversee daily food preparation and service to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation.
Manage food production processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, standards, and portion control.
Develop and introduce seasonal menu items, incorporating fresh seasonal ingredients and current food trends.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff, supporting development and teamwork.
Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships.
