We are a busy independent garage serving the village of Marnhull and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and repairing vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive maintenance. Must be capable of working independently and have excellent knowledge of modern diagnostic techniques and tools.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify any potential problems
- Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Keep work area clean and organised
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
MOT tester is preferred but not essential. Support in gaining MOT qualification will be given to the right candidate.
