We are a busy independent garage serving the village of Marnhull and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and repairing vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive maintenance. Must be capable of working independently and have excellent knowledge of modern diagnostic techniques and tools. Must be able to work to a high standard, we don't micro manage so you must be capable of checking your own work and getting things right first time.

Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify any potential problems
  • Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
  • Keep work area clean and organised

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification

MOT tester is preferred but not essential. Support in gaining MOT qualification will be given to the right candidate.
