Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Industrial Door Installer to join our East Anglia based team. The successful candidate will be a competent and reliable engineer with proven experience in the installation of a wide range of door systems for industry and commerce.
Mechanical / electrical engineer with similar skill set would be considered for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of a variety of industrial door systems, sectional Doors, roller shutters, steel door sets, fire doors, high speed doors and loading bay technology.
- Deliver a high standard of hard and soft skills.
- Work closely with clients to understand and meet their requirements
- Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and safely
- Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues when required
- Keep up to date with industry developments, products, and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience and responsibility as an Industrial Door Engineer.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial door systems and associated equipment
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
- Familiarity with industry safety regulations and procedures
