Casual Retail Team Member – Chichester
Location: Chichester
Hours: 16 Hours Per Week (Working during the Christmas period)
Pay rate: £12.60 Per Hour (This includes paid breaks)
Join Our Retail Team! There’s more to COOK than food: our shops play active roles in the communities they serve and that’s thanks to the warmth, knowledge and care of our Retail Team. We’re looking for remarkable people to join us who can host customers in the shop just like they would at home.
The Role
Responsibilities
- Offer remarkable service; the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
- Use your knowledge to help customers plan menus or advise on catering for occasions. Talk to customers about upcoming offers, products and promotions.
- Maintain an immaculate shop, keep stock replenished and rotated, and ensure freezers are full.
- Be proficient at operating the till efficiently and accurately.
- Understand the shop paperwork and necessary legal checks and their purpose.
- Open and close the shop and cash up.
- Check in deliveries, place orders, and assist with stock taking as required.
- Look smart with apron and name badge on at all times.
Qualifications
- Good to have: a foodie interest; training on products and how they’re made, and how dishes suit occasions.
- Experience not necessary, but previous experience in Retail or a customer-facing role would be beneficial.
