Due to ongoing expansion, we have various positions available within our Engineering Department.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that’s open to fresh ideas and keen to energise the corporate brand and profile of one of Scotland’s leading aquaculture companies .

THE ROLES

Electrical Engineering
In this ‘hands on’ role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance & repair of the company’s workboats, feed barges and associated Company machinery. A recognised electrical qualification and driving licence is essential. Experience with marine electronics, ROV equipment, generators, control systems, and camera systems are desired.

Engineer Fabricator
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, fabrication, and fitting of components to vessels. Applicants must hold relevant engineering qualifications, possess a full driving licence, and have proven experience in fabrication, machining, and welding using a variety of methods. Experience in boat building, vessel refitting, and marine engineering is highly desirable, as are coded welding certificates.

Engineer Pipe Fitter
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, fabrication, and installation of pipework systems into vessels. Essential requirements include relevant engineering qualifications, a full driving licence, and extensive experience in pipe fitting and design. An understanding of valves, control equipment, and various pipework fabrication methods is required, along with knowledge of materials suited to different marine applications. Experience in pipe forming, pumps, and hydraulic systems is highly desirable, as is a background in boat building, vessel refitting, or marine engineering.

Parts Person/Admin Support
This role involves overseeing the engineering stores, including maintaining accurate records and setting up a database for effective stock control. Administrative support duties include assisting the Engineering Manager with routine tasks such as recording, training coordination, and arranging and ordering supplies. A valid driving licence, experience or knowledge of engineering components, strong communication, and computer skills are required. Desirable attributes include previous experience running a parts store, an engineering background, and knowledge of health and safety practices.

Due to the nature of the Company’s business some weekend work including call outs will be required for these roles.
The ideal candidate will be committed to achieving the best results in a challenging environment and delivering the highest standards of performance possible.
