Responsibilities
- Carefully cutting, weighing, and preparing meat according to set instructions and recipes.
- Preparing Christmas centrepieces, including trimming, cutting, portioning, and stuffing meat products ready for cooking.
- Working safely with raw meat, poultry, and other ingredients, following all required food handling procedures.
- Preparing and stuffing meat products, ensuring they are assembled neatly and consistently to the required standard.
- Using knives and other kitchen equipment safely and confidently when cutting and preparing ingredients.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and hygienic preparation area, including cleaning surfaces, utensils, equipment, and workstations.
- Following all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures when handling raw meat and preparing food.
- Working efficiently as part of the team to ensure Christmas orders are prepared accurately and on time.
- Supporting the team with other preparation duties as required during the busy Christmas period.

Experience as a chef or working in busy Kitchen
NVQ level 1 and 2. (Or equivalent in catering) preferred but not required
