Location: Sittingbourne, Kent – COOK Pastry & Pies
Hours: Choose days you are available, minimum 4 days a week required
Rate: £12.60 per hour – day shift, £13.60 per hour – night shift
Role Overview
Join the final stage of COOK's production process; you are the team ensuring that every product meets the highest standards before leaving the kitchen. Attention to detail, quality control, and teamwork are essential as you seal, sleeve, and box our remarkable products.
The Role
- Accuracy & Presentation: Seal and box meals to ensure all products meet legal weight requirements and high presentation standards.
- Quality Control: Verify freezing processes, operate X-ray and metal detection equipment, and confirm all packaging and labeling match specifications.
- Documentation: Complete all paperwork accurately, including legal obligations.
- Team Contribution: Collaborate effectively in a small team to minimize damage and wastage.
Good to Have
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or catering (NVQ Level 2 is a bonus).
- A background in team leadership is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
