Retail Team Member – Bedford
Location: Bedford
Hours: Various
Pay rate: £12.60 Per Hour (including paid breaks)
Join Our Retail Team! Our shops play active roles in the communities they serve, thanks to the warmth, knowledge, and care of our Retail Team. We’re looking for remarkable people to host customers in the shop just like they would at home.
The Role
- Offer remarkable service, prioritizing the customer above all else.
- Use your knowledge to help customers plan menus or advise on catering for occasions. Talk about upcoming offers, products, and promotions.
- Keep the shop immaculate—clean, stocked, and organized. Ensure freezers are full and stock is rotated.
- Operate the till efficiently and accurately.
- Understand shop paperwork and legal checks.
- Open and close the shop, and cash up.
- Check deliveries, assist with stock taking, and place orders as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance with apron and name badge at all times.

If you are a foodie, great! We will train you to know our products, how and where they are made, and which dishes suit different occasions. Experience is not necessary, but previous retail or customer-facing experience is a plus.
