Pay rate: £12.60 Per Hour (including paid breaks)
Join Our Retail Team! There’s more to COOK than food: our shops actively serve their communities, thanks to the warmth, knowledge, and care of our Retail Team. We’re seeking remarkable individuals to host customers in the shop as if they were guests at home.
The Role
- Offer exceptional service; the customer always comes first.
- Use your knowledge to help customers plan menus or advise on catering for occasions.
- Discuss upcoming offers, products, and promotions.
- Maintain shop cleanliness, ensure stock is replenished and rotated, and keep freezers full.
- Operate the till efficiently and accurately.
- Understand shop paperwork and legal checks.
- Open and close the shop, including cashing up.
- Check deliveries, assist with stock taking, and place orders as needed.
- Dress smartly with apron and name badge at all times.

- If you’re a foodie, that’s a bonus! We will train you on our products, their origins, and suitable dishes for various occasions.
- Experience isn’t necessary, but retail or customer-facing experience is a plus.
