Overview
Casual Retail Team Member – Oxford
Location: Oxford
Hours: Casual (Working during the Christmas period) / 12 Hours Per Week (Including Weekends)
Pay rate: £12.60 Per Hour (includes paid breaks)
Join Our Retail Team! There’s more to COOK than food: our shops play active roles in the communities they serve and that’s thanks to the warmth, knowledge and care of our Retail Team. We’re looking for remarkable people to join us who can host customers in the shop just like they would at home.
£12.30 for the engagement period.
Responsibilities
- Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
- Use your knowledge to help customers plan menus or advise on catering for occasions. Talk to customers about upcoming offers, products and promotions.
- We are a food business – make sure the shop always looks immaculate, clean and spotless, stock is replenished and rotated, and the freezers are full.
- Be a whizz on the till. Operate it efficiently and accurately.
- Understand the shop paperwork, necessary legal checks and their purpose.
- Open up the shop. Close the shop and cash up.
- Check in deliveries and placing orders, assist with stock taking as required.
- Look smart with apron, and name badge on at all times.
Good to Have
If you are a foodie then great, but we will train you to know our products, including how and where they are made, and to understand what dishes suit which occasions.
Experience not necessary but previous experience of working in Retail or in a customer facing role would be the icing on the cake.
