Part‑Time Cookery Class Leader – Children’s Cookery Classes
Cook Stars Leeds North West is offering an ongoing employed part‑time position with full training provided and plenty of opportunity for growth and development.

About Us
Cook Stars delivers award‑winning cookery classes for children aged 2–17 years. Our fun and creative sessions help children develop skills, confidence and a love for cooking. We also run birthday parties and workshops. We’re expanding across Horsforth due to high demand for after‑school classes and are looking for a reliable individual to run our after‑school cookery programme for children aged 5‑11 years, plus occasional parties and workshops.
What You’ll Do
- Run engaging cooking sessions with lesson and tutorial plans, recipes, and admin provided.
- Teach 2 classes per week at primary schools in Horsforth (Mon/Wed).
- Shop weekly for ingredients.
- Help children prepare a variety of recipes each week from scratch.
- Clean up and pack away materials after each class.
- Term‑time only for after‑school clubs.
- Manage sessions lasting 1 hr 15 min, with paid time for prep and clean‑up.
What You’ll Get

Who We’re Looking For

- Reliability to work weekday afternoons during term time (typically 3:15 pm – 5:30 pm).
- Experience in schools, childcare or youth work is an advantage but not essential.
- Driver with access to own vehicle (essential).
- Over 18 years of age (essential).
- We’ll support you with Enhanced DBS and First Aid Training if you don’t already have them.
