Cook Brown Building Control services operate as a Registered Building Control Approver, with the aim of providing a high-quality service to ensure a healthy and safe environment whilst assisting clients throughout the construction process. It is set up as a commercial business to deliver a quality-based Building Control Service to external clients in a competitive arena. The Service is divided into five technical teams, each responsible for a geographical area – Bristol and South West, Tewkesbury, Birmingham, London and Swansea, together with centralised administration support team.

- Building Control experience (Minimum RBI 2 A-F)

Roles and responsibilities:
- Delivering a professional Registered Building Control Approver to our clients
- Project management of workload
- Advising on fee quotes
- Checking of plans for compliance with the Building Regulations
- Carry out site inspections to ensure works are carried out in accordance with the Building Regulations
- Assist with general queries and advise to customers
- Achieving and/or retaining the appropriate Class and Sub Class of Registered Building Inspector
- Undertaking all duties and activities in accordance with Cook Brown quality manual, standard operating procedures, technical memorandums and Registered Building Inspector code of conduct
