We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team in Christchurch, Canterbury. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the building and construction industry by providing accurate cost estimates for various projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for building and construction projects based on project specifications and drawings.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure all aspects of the project are considered in the estimates.
  • Analyse labour, material, and overhead costs to provide comprehensive pricing.
  • Maintain and update a database of costs and pricing for future reference.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and proposals.
  • Review and adjust estimates based on project changes or client feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the estimation process.
