We’re looking for an Apprentice IT Support to join our busy IT team. This is a great opportunity to start your career in IT, earn while you learn, and build real-world experience supporting colleagues across our head office and regional offices. You’ll help provide friendly, practical technical support to users of our IT services, diagnosing issues and resolving queries as quickly as possible. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues and will receive full training; we’re looking for attitude, curiosity, and potential.
You’ll be part of our IT Team providing support across the business. You’ll learn how to deliver great customer service through our Helpdesk, how to troubleshoot Windows devices and applications, and how to support core collaboration tools.
What you will do:
- Supporting the IT team with day-to-day systems and network administration tasks
- Installing and maintaining hardware and software
- Troubleshooting Windows PCs and supporting business applications
- Logging, tracking and resolving Helpdesk requests in a professional and timely way
- Diagnosing issues, problem solving, and escalating where needed
- Providing general IT support to colleagues (in person, by phone and remotely)
- Supporting IT projects, including rollout of new systems and upgrades
Experience and Qualifications you need:
- A genuine interest in IT and a desire to learn (full training provided)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- A logical, problem-solving mindset and good attention to detail
- Basic familiarity with Windows PCs and Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Own vehicle so able to travel between offices as required
- Level 2 equivalent Maths and English
- Any experience (or keen interest) in Windows Server and basic administration concepts
- Exposure to Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint (or willingness to learn)
- Basic networking knowledge (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, remote desktop concepts)
- Experience dealing with third parties/suppliers or raising support tickets with external providers
- Any experience in a professional services environment (e.g., legal, finance, accountancy) is helpful but not required

Location: Truro (with travel to regional offices as required)
Hours: This is a full-time position. 35 hours a week Monday to Friday; however, we welcome applications from candidates looking for alternative working arrangements.
