Work base: Great Orme Tramway, Llandudno

The historic Great Orme Tramway is looking for a skilled and motivated Tramway Technician to help maintain and operate one of the UK’s most iconic heritage transport systems. This is a rare opportunity to work in a unique environment, supporting safe reliable daily operation for thousands of visitors each year.

What you will do:

  • Routine maintenance and inspection of trams, track and cable systems
  • Fault finding and repairs
  • Assisting with daily operations and responding to technical issues
  • Ensure workshop and surrounding areas and all its facilities are maintained, along with compliance with service health and safety standards promoting a safe working environment

About you:

  • Mechanical background preferred
  • Possess a driving licence (minimum standard required Category B manual gear change motor car)
  • Experience with rail, tramway cable systems or plant machinery is an advantage
  • Comfortable working outdoors
