This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Mental Wellness Team in Conwy as a permanent social worker. The Mental Wellness team is the social work mental health team and we work closely with partners, and other services to provide specialist support and interventions for people experiencing complex needs due to ongoing psychosocial stresses.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments
- Provide therapeutic interventions
- Consult with professionals and other frontline staff
- Provide guidance and advice to service users and their families, including ‘signposting’
- Support onward referral
Requirements / Qualifications
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the County, often to and from remote locations at short notice
- Obtain a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Desirable: ability to communicate in Welsh.
