Conwy Youth Service is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual who is dedicated to enhancing opportunities for young people aged 11 to 25 years.

We are looking for a professional Youth Worker to help develop and deliver the following key initiatives:

  • Promoting the Welsh language and culture in community and school settings.
  • Delivering programs focused on digital safety in both community and school environments.
  • Implementing effective marketing strategies to widely promote our services and celebrate the Welsh language.

The successful candidate will collaborate with our dedicated and welcoming team to enhance our issue-based topic offerings, focusing on providing young people with fun and interactive informal learning opportunities. All activities will align with the Youth Work Strategy for Wales and the Five Pillars of Youth Work.

This position will offer the opportunity to work closely with various internal and external departments within Conwy County Borough Council, as well as the school sector and voluntary organisations, to meet the needs of young people in the region. The successful candidate will be required to work throughout Conwy County and will be part of a passionate team already delivering countywide initiatives.

This role offers flexible working options for a work life balance. This can include adjusting your working day and hybrid working, ie a balance of office and home working.
