With one of the busiest events programmes in the region, Conwy County plays host to local, national and international events and for more than a decade Conwy County Borough Council has been committed to supporting a vibrant, year round events calendar. Events enrich the cultural life of the county, encourage participation by residents and visitors alike and support the economy and our communities. Responsibilities

  • Engage with the organisers of both new and established events, assisting them with all aspects of their event.
  • Support the county’s Safety Advisory Group meetings and coordinate event organisers attending the meetings.
  • Be a key part of delivering the council’s own programme of events.

Requirements

If you have a keen eye for detail, first rate organisation and communication skills and understand what it takes to put an event together you might be our candidate. Contract

This is a fixed term post to cover the maternity leave of the current postholder.
