- The role involves providing professional accountancy services to Senior Managers for various services within the Council.
- You will assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and control of central support budgets.
- Your duties include offering financial advice, supporting budget planning, conducting regular meetings with budget managers, and assisting in account closure at the end of the financial year.
- You will support treasury management and bank reconciliation processes, aid the Insurance and Tax Manager in compliance issues, and coordinate financial/numeric returns for the Welsh Government.
- You'll liaise with audits, coordinate responses to information requests, and update relevant financial data on internal and external websites.
